Welcome to Our Community
Welcome to the Catholic High School community. Founded in 1949, Catholic High School, a co-educational Catholic high school in the Diocese of Richmond, is rich in history and tradition—a tradition that, we hope, will include your son or daughter and your family!
For over 65 years, our graduates have become scientists, researchers, doctors, lawyers, business owners, community leaders, teachers, and more. Remaining true to the School’s mission and Catholic Identity, we continue to build on a culture of excellence, offering a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, championship athletics, award-winning fine arts, and a strong school/family partnership.
Campus Ministry and the Theology Department provide curriculum, service experiences, and retreats that cultivate a student's spiritual growth and faith journey. All faculty and staff encourage students to be responsible citizens in our school, our community, and our world.
All that the School offers is made possible through the commitment and passion of faculty and staff and the generosity of our many donors whose financial support is critical to our success.
We look forward to working side by side with you throughout your child’s educational journey.

Catholic High School is AdvancED accredited and the Diocese of Richmond is AdvancED accredited as a school system.
AdvancEDis the largest community of education professionals in the world. They are a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts rigorous, on-site external reviews of Pre-K-12 schools and school systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential. While their expertise is grounded in more than a hundred years of work in school accreditation, AdvancED is far from a typical accrediting agency. Their goal is not to certify that schools are good enough. Rather, their commitment is to help schools improve.
