  • Student Technology Access and Chromebook Program

The Technology department is always engaged in making the student experience as smooth as possible.  Students, in turn, have a responsibility to use the technology thoughtfully and within the guidelines set forth by the Diocese.  Parents and students sign an Acceptable Use Contract at the start of each school year.

As of the 2016-17 school year, we now have  a 1:1 Chromebook program. Each student receives a Chromebook for use in the classroom and to work with at home. There is a yearly fee to cover the cost of the device, damage insurance and applications and filtering software. While the Chromebook is owned by BSCHS during the student's time at BSCHS; it is presented to the student upon graduation.

We are aware that some families may already have a Chromebook. The Technology department will send a letter to parents of incoming students in June outlining how to arrange using a personal Chromebook at school.
