  • NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY PACKETS DUE MARCH 23rd. All candidates seeking membership in the National Honor Society MUST have their packets completed and turned in to the Main Office by the end of the day on Thursday, March 23. All candidates eligible due to the appropriate grade, behavior, and attendance criteria should have received an email with the application packet on March 7. Please remember that anyone seeking candidacy for the NHS must have 10 hours in addition to their En Christe hours completed and verified in MobileServe by Monday, March 27.

  • Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) at West Point: Led by current cadets, Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) is a week-long immersion into the academic, military, and social life of a West Point cadet. At SLE, you will explore West Point from all angles, including our high-tech educational facilities, team-building athletic activities, and realistic military training. SLE gives you a taste of the character, determination, commitment to excellence, and leadership required to be a cadet at the U.S. Military Academy (USMA).

  • Parents! Looking for a service hour opportunity? Help the Once Upon a Mattress crew paint their set for the upcoming production! 

 Mark your calendars to join us as the CHS Theater Company presents "Once Upon a Mattress" at the Barry Robinson Theater and Fine Arts Center! Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic, and melodic, this rollicking spin on the classic tale The Princess and the Pea entertains with side-splitting shenanigans. Shows will be Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per person at chsvb.org/arts/chs-theatre-company.

  • Summer Seminar at USNA: Summer Seminar gives you a taste of life at the Naval Academy and kick-starts your application journey for an appointment to the Academy. For one week in June, you will experience first-class academic, athletic and professional training while building lifelong friendships with campers from all over the country.

  • Summer STEM at USNA: Summer STEM at the Naval Academy is a vibrant week of problem solving, exploratory learning, critical thinking, and team building for rising 9th-11th graders interested in a future in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

  • AIM Summer Program (Coast Guard Academy Summer Program): The Academy Introduction Mission (AIM) is a one-week summer program where you’ll immerse yourself in Academy life. Exclusively for students entering their senior year of high school, AIM is regarded as the most realistic of the service academy summer orientation programs.

AIM will test and inspire you. It will push you to your limits. You’ll rise early. You’ll study. You’ll compete. For six non-stop days, you’ll test your mind, body and spirit in every way.

  • United States Naval Academy Admissions Forum: The U.S. Naval Academy is hosting an Admissions Information Session on Saturday, March 18th at 9 a.m at Norfolk Academy. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. and you will have the opportunity to hear from current Midshipmen, active-duty Lieutenants, congressional representatives, Blue & Gold officers and admissions counselors. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the admissions process. Click here to register!
