Asynchronous Digital Learning Days
School closings can disrupt the instructional programs of Catholic High School. To help students remain on pace with their studies during these absences, administration and teachers of CHS may implement Asynchronous Digital Learning Days (ADLD) in the event of a school closure. During Asynchronous Digital Learning Days students will be required to complete any assignments posted by their teachers. These assignments will be appropriate and purposeful, designed to keep student learning on track despite school closings. Students will be held accountable for completing these assignments and turning them in on time, as determined by the subject teacher. Any ADLD assignments will be posted to Google Classroom by 9:00 a.m. on the day of the closure. Please see more about ADLD procedure below.
Asynchronous Digital Learning Days will be in effect, as needed, when school is closed for inclement weather. ADLDs will be announced via the CHSVB Website, by phone, Social Media, and the TV.
