What did you do after graduation?
I majored in Economics at the University of Virginia. After graduation I took a few months off for myself (no work) before starting a job search. Now, I’m a commercial lender with TowneBank, where I provide financing to various businesses in the area. I work mostly with government contractors, but also with a few other operating companies. I started with TowneBank the summer after I graduated college, and have been there since.
What clubs / activities were you in during high school?
I played JV and Varsity basketball, was a member of National Honor Society, Sports Staff Reporter for the Defensor, and Senior Class Treasurer.
What is your favorite memory of Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School?
When we beat Benedictine in basketball at home thanks to Kamillo Rosenthal’s (2001) buzzer beater is a great memory. The Globetrotters performance some classmates and I executed at one of the pep rallies and the rap routine that Chris Kahl (2000) and I had at another pep rally remain memorable.
What does being a Crusader mean to you?
Many of my good friends to this day are Catholic classmates. Being a Crusader means establishing close-knit relationships and cultivating them over the years. As you grow older, you realize just how special and valuable these relationships are, both in life and in business.
