Chuck Worley '87 has been a devoted sponsor of the Crusader Classic Golf Tournament for several years. He, alongside his sister, Emily Worley '88, is honoring his sister, Jennifer Worley '90, by dedicating his presenting sponsorship in her loving memory.
Jennifer Worley was a radiant presence whose passion for children and education left a global impact. She was the cherished daughter of Edgar and Linda, beloved sister to Chuck and Emily, and a devoted wife to Serkan and mother to her two sons, Emre and Erkay.
From the age of 10, Jennifer knew she wanted to be an early education teacher. A Girl Scouts Gold Award recipient and dedicated volunteer, she pursued this dream after graduating from Norfolk Catholic High School in 1990. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Education at Immaculata College in 1994 and a Master’s in International Education at the University of Madrid in 2013.
Over her 20-year career specializing in Early Childhood Education, Jennifer taught first grade in Maryland before transitioning to international schools in Estonia, Turkey, and Qatar. Known for her magnetic personality and true passion for teaching, her students adored her. She went beyond the curriculum, ensuring every child understood the subject before moving on.
Jennifer was a force of nature—loyal, kind, and the best kind of cheerleader for others. She encouraged everyone around her to dream big and follow through. When she passed away unexpectedly in 2015 at the age of 42, communities across the globe rallied to honor her vibrant spirit and profound impact. She is deeply missed every single day.
